Annan player/assistant manager Andy Aitken is banned and full-back John MacBeth and striker Graeme Bell are both ruled out through injury. The Galabank side sit seven points behind league leaders Arbroath with four matches to play.

Berwick will be without injured trio Elliot Smith, Fraser McLaren and Craig O'Reilly while John Grant is doubtful.

The visitors' hopes of clinching a promotion place will end if they lose at Galabank.

Annan Athletic manager Harry Cairney: "We have to go out and win and whatever happens elsewhere happens.

"With Arbroath playing a Queen's Park side that are looking for a play-off place I am not sure of what result I want at Gayfield but I definitely want an Annan win at Galabank.

"We always have tight games with Berwick and I am expecting this one to be tight as well."

Berwick Rangers manager Jimmy Creased: "We want to get as many points on board as possible and see where we end up.

"Even if we do not get into the play-offs the players are playing for contracts at Berwick Rangers next season and hopefully that will be enough motivation for an improvement on last weekend's defeat from Montrose."
